1. Expression of Thanking
Thanking adalah ungkapan yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan rasa terima kasih kepada seseorang atas bantuan, pemberian, perhatian, atau kebaikan yang diterima.
Your friend lends you a pencil.
You: “Thank you for lending me your pencil.”
2. Expression of Apologizing
Apologizing digunakan untuk meminta maaf ketika melakukan kesalahan, mengganggu orang lain, terlambat, atau melakukan sesuatu yang kurang tepat.
